Carter Update

I feel terrible for not blogging in so long, particularly as Carter has changed so much! He's walking now, loves balls and climbing steps... has 4 molars and all his front teeth in.

Our 'happy boy' is not quite as happy these days. He's still battling the same ear infection since January, and the antibiotics are playing heck with his stomach. Plus, he's teething, and his ears hurt. We've had a lot of screaming, SCREAMING nights from him. Poor guy.

He continues to adore his big brother, which is getting harder for Alex. Alex is handling it well, and works hard to share, and show Carter how to play. I think Alex has the most difficulty in not getting all the attention that Carter does. We can't blame him of course, and we try hard to make sure we tickle him as much as we tickle Carter. However, we've been thrilled at how helpful and loving Alex has been, though not at all surprised.

Carter moved into the next room at daycare, where he's the youngest. Audrey, one of the oldest in that room (about 4 months older?) had trouble saying his name. She started calling him "Baby Cobbler!" So, that's his nickname.
