Sick - Right on Schedule

Carter started daycare last week and, as expected, he's sick. Fortunately, it doesn't seem to be an infection, just a cold. He has a low fever, cough, runny nose, and - our favorite - vomiting. His dad is also sick with much of the same. Alex and Mom seem healthy... knock on wood.

Because of his cold, we've rescheduled Carter's 2 month checkup, but at the doctor Monday, we did get a weight on him... 14 pounds! Wowsa. This is a big boy. I was starting to wonder when I noticed the size 1 diapers no longer fit. As the PA at the doctor's office said, "he's a chunk, isn't he!" Take a look at the growth chart and you'll notice he's just like his brother: hanging out on the very edge of the growth chart!
