We didn't think it would happen, but Carter is crawling! He's been pulling up to the train/coffee table for some time now. In fact, he loves standing there holding on more than he does sitting with toys.
Finally this week, he's started perching on all fours, rocking forward and backward... then he'd do a 'crawl step' forward, then collapse to the floor crying and frustrated.
Yesterday, he could crawl 2 or 3 steps.
TODAY, he can crawl. He seems to be very tickled that he can crawl and get where he wants to go, and he is a happy kid, let me tell you! He still likes us to hold his hands and help him "walk".
As CC said, the easy part is over. No longer will we be able to sit him down one place and know he'll stay there!
